From French Magazine "Tele-loisirs"

Entertainment Television, would you live in France?

Kiefer Sutherland: No problem! France has always had a special place in my heart. This is where my father [actor Donald Sutherland, editor's note] he first saw an episode of 24. It was fun. He was shooting a movie and loved it because the episode was not interrupted by advertisements. Then he returned to the United States and hated ... advertisements. Then he returned to France, and advertisements have failed because it gave him time to breathe! He found that the actions were taking place too fast! [He laughs.]

What do you prefer among the French?

A story out of the ordinary. The French also have the ability to see things before us. They manage to anticipate and have a good analysis of our world. And then, at the social level, especially in the health field, we can hardly do better.

As exchanges with you a Frenchman?

Culture. I am absolutely overwhelmed by all this cultural wealth. When I go to Paris, I never know where to turn my head there are so many things to see and appreciate.

If you need to reincarnate in French, which would you choose?

General de Gaulle. When a man comes to play an important role in the history of his country is fascinating.

Could you have a career in France?

I would love to work with French producers and directors. I also try to practice French as often as possible, which is not always obvious. I love your language, but it is really difficult.

In your opinion, what image do you have in France?

Since the series 24, I think I have a pretty cool, despite some deviation of conduct ... [he smiles.]

What makes you ashamed?

My mistakes often make me ashamed. For example, being arrested by police for drunk driving was extremely embarrassing for me.

Your principal defect?

I have remained very childlike. As I recently told my daughter [Sarah, 20, editor's note], I'm sorry to grow in the same time. I make mistakes that I regret later.

The quality you most proud of?

I am a perfectionist. Every night I go to bed with a desire to be even better the next morning when my alarm clock. I always try to do my job the best way possible. Otherwise, my greatest pride is my daughter, she is wonderful. She is a remarkable student, she is being completed his third year at university. She writes extremely well and, through it, the world is much better for me.

What irritates you?

The government that is currently leading the United States. The time is ripe for a big change. I hope that the results of the next presidential election will go in that direction.

What attracted you?

I've always been curious about humans. I like people. I think people are absolutely fascinating.

What would you like to be told about you when you won’t be no longer there?

Despite its mistakes and misconduct, the daily struggle of Kiefer Sutherland has always been to become a better man.

Kiefer Sutherland and 24 crew to unveil photography exibition

Fox's "24" is planning to kick off its seventh season not with a car chase or gunfight but with an art show.

A photography exhibition featuring images by the cast and crew of the Emmy-winning action series will go on display Nov. 10 at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. The exhibition will feature still photos taken from the South Africa locations of the season's two-hour opener, "24: Redemption."

Visitors will see 48 large-scale digital photographs taken by "24" star Kiefer Sutherland, director Jon Cassar, producer Michael Klick and others. The show mixes behind-the-scenes shots of "24" with images of the local population and wildlife taken in and around Cape Town, according to Michael Kochman, the exhibition curator.

The six-week filming took place during a particularly harsh South African winter, said "24" executive producer Cassar, who directed "Redemption" (scheduled to air Nov. 23). "It was a difficult shoot," he said. "And you'll see it in the pictures."

Mirrors

I went and saw Kiefer Sutherlands new movie "Mirrors" last Friday. And for me, it was one of the best movies I have seen this year. Ok, I will admit, Im not a huge fan of horror movies but this one I really enjoyed. I think it was those bleedy pidges at the begining that did it for me more than anything else, and there is a few very scary scenes in the movie)

If I wasn't a huge Kiefer fan, would I still go see "Mirrors"? My answer to that is yes. There was just something in the movie that I enjoyed. I dnt know if it was the whole story line but I would watch it over and over again.

At the end of the film I had to think a bit about what had happened to Ben when he got outta Mayflower but it makes a really good ending. Id recommened this to any Kiefer and non-kiefer fan.

I do know that "Mirrors" got a bad review, but what do they know, eh? ;)

Since seeing "Mirrors" On Friday, a friend of mine has got it fot me on DVD so i have watched it a further 3 times. And one the 3rd time i was near the end a bleeding HUGE spider came crawling outta no where and scared the hell outta me. LOL.

Anyway, enjoy if u go to see it.
